Quik! Forms are interactive, secure and automated Adobe® PDF documents. We have built Quik! on the PDF standard and have added additional functionality to the forms to ensure they are fully automated within the Quik! system. All forms adhere to a 128-bit encryption standard to ensure that form content cannot be modified and to ensure compliance.
Every form in the Quik! library goes through a conversion process, whereby the resulting form is standardized. The Quik! Form Standard includes:
-
Creating interactive, fillable fields in all appropriate locations
- Fields may hide combs, slashes for date formats, phone number formats
- Fields will not be used to hide content or to modify the format of the original form content
- All fields have a standard font, dark blue color and an auto-stretching font size
-
Setting 128-bit security on the form content
- Security ensures underlying content cannot be modified by end-users
- Secure forms are still printable, allow for comments and allow for full automation
Before Quik! was invented, forms were designed to make it easy for a user to hand-write data onto their form. Now that forms can be pre-filled, validated, submitted for processing and saved for future use, forms can be redesigned to make automation more effective and easier to implement.
To make it easier to build forms for automation, we developed the Quik Form Design Best Practices Guide. This guide is completely free and available for download from within our Quik! Forms Manager website (which requires you to login).
